1. General
This privacy policy sets out how data is processed when you use the Baltika Without Noise website.
The site is available at www.baltiho.ru and may also be available at the mirror address www2.baltiho.ru.
Baltika Without Noise is an independent author's project about FC Baltika. The site is not an official resource of FC Baltika, the Russian Premier League, the Russian Football Union or their partners.
The policy describes each actual purpose of processing, the categories of data and data subjects, the methods and retention periods, the deletion procedure and how requests are answered. The site has no registration, orders, personal accounts or forms, so the policy has no sections about such features; if new features appear, the policy is updated before they launch.
2. Terms
The following terms are used in this policy:
- personal data — any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified or identifiable natural person;
- processing of personal data — any operation on data: collection, recording, organisation, storage, correction, use, transfer, deletion, destruction;
- operator — the person who organises and carries out processing and determines its purposes; for this site, the author of the project;
- data subject — the natural person the data relates to: a visitor of the site or a person who writes to the operator;
- automated processing — processing by computing means without human involvement, such as a server writing technical logs or an analytics counter running;
- cookies — small files that a service stores in the browser and receives back with subsequent requests;
- browser local storage (localStorage) — an area on the visitor's device where the site saves settings; its contents stay in the browser and are not sent to a server.
3. Operator and contacts
Operator: Alexey Murzinov.
Project: Baltika Without Noise.
Site: www.baltiho.ru.
Questions about data processing, correction of information or removal of materials can be sent:
- via Telegram: @BalticaB — the main contact channel;
- by email: hello@baltiho.ru — once the mailbox is in operation; until then, requests are accepted via Telegram only.
4. What data the site does not collect
The site has no:
- registration or personal accounts;
- comments;
- contact forms;
- newsletter subscription;
- file uploads by users;
- mandatory entry of a name, phone number or email address.
The site therefore does not receive a visitor's name, phone number or email unless the visitor sends them to the operator via Telegram, email or another external channel.
5. Data subjects, purposes and retention
The operator processes data of the following categories of data subjects:
- visitors of the site;
- users of the site installed as an app (PWA);
- persons who voluntarily write to the operator by email or Telegram;
- rights holders who send requests about images or texts.
Each purpose of processing, the data involved, the basis, the retention period and the destruction procedure:
| Purpose | Subjects | Data | Basis | Retention | Destruction |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Operating and protecting the site | Visitors | IP address, date and time, page address, browser type, response code — in the hosting technical logs | Operation and protection of the service | Per the hosting providers' rules | When the provider's log retention period ends |
| Visit analytics | Visitors who gave consent | IP address, cookies, visit identifiers, device, browser, page addresses, on-site events | Visitor's consent | Per Yandex Metrica rules | Within Yandex's periods or on a lawful request |
| Site settings | All visitors | Language, colour theme, analytics choice, service settings of the install hint | Operation of the interface at the visitor's request | Until localStorage is cleared | Deleting the site's data in the browser |
| Offline reading (PWA) | PWA users | Cache of opened pages, images and the site's service files | Operation of a feature requested by the visitor | Until the cache is cleared or evicted | Clearing the browser or removing the PWA |
| Answering requests | Only persons who wrote to the operator | Email address or Telegram username, message content | Answering the request | Until the correspondence ends plus the period needed to confirm the measures taken | Deletion of the correspondence by the operator in the messaging service, where possible |
The operator keeps no separate database of visitors or requests and does not combine data from different rows of the table.
6. Technical data and site operation
When pages are opened, hosting providers and infrastructure services may automatically receive technical information needed to run, protect and diagnose the site:
- IP address;
- date and time of the request;
- address of the requested page;
- browser and operating system type;
- technical parameters of the connection;
- server response code;
- information about errors, suspicious requests and abuse attempts.
This information may be kept in the hosting providers' technical logs for the periods set by their rules and applicable law.
The site operator does not use technical logs to build personal profiles of visitors and does not combine them with analytics data.
7. Browser settings and offline reading
To operate, the site may store in the browser:
- the chosen language;
- the chosen colour theme;
- the visitor's choice regarding analytics;
- service settings related to the hint about adding the site as an app.
This information is kept in the browser's localStorage and is not transmitted to the site operator.
If a visitor adds the site to the phone's home screen or opens articles without a network connection, the browser may keep pages, images and service files in the device's local cache.
The operator has no access to the visitor's localStorage or browser cache. This data can be deleted in the browser or device settings.
8. Yandex Metrica
The site may use the Yandex Metrica web analytics service.
Metrica is switched on only after the visitor's separate consent, given by pressing the «Allow analytics» button in the site's notice. The «Allow analytics» and «Essential only» buttons in the notice are equal choices.
Before consent is given:
- the Metrica code is not loaded;
- no analytics events are sent;
- no analytics cookies are set by the site;
- the Metrica pixel for browsers without JavaScript is not used.
After consent, Yandex Metrica may process:
- the IP address and technical details of the connection;
- cookies and technical visit identifiers;
- browser, operating system and device type details;
- screen resolution and technical browser parameters;
- date and time of the visit;
- addresses of visited pages;
- the referral source;
- actions and events on the site;
- the visitor's approximate region;
- loading speed and technical error details.
Purposes of processing:
- visit statistics;
- measuring how far articles are read;
- analysing clicks through to Telegram and external sources;
- detecting technical errors;
- improving the structure, content and usability of the site.
The legal basis for using Yandex Metrica is the visitor's voluntary consent.
Data is processed via Yandex Metrica by Yandex LLC in accordance with the Yandex Metrica terms of use and the Yandex privacy policy.
The Webvisor session-recording feature is disabled on the site. Recording of user actions and the click map are not used.
The site does not send to Metrica a name, email address, phone number, message content or any other information that could identify a visitor. The site's events contain only the address of the site page, the interface language, reading time and the domain of the external site a link leads to.
The site operator uses aggregated Metrica reports and does not use them to identify an individual visitor.
9. Cookies
The site itself does not use cookies for registration, authentication, advertising or a personal account.
After consent to analytics, the Yandex Metrica service may set its own analytics cookies and use technical visit and session identifiers.
If the visitor clicks «Support», the DonatePay service may set its own cookies, including session and DDoS protection cookies (section 14). The DonatePay form is not loaded before that click.
A visitor can opt out of analytics:
- by choosing «Essential only» in the site's notice;
- by changing the choice on this page;
- by deleting cookies and site data in the browser settings;
- by restricting cookies with browser tools.
Opting out of analytics does not limit access to articles, matches, search, the Telegram mirror, the archive or the PWA.
10. Requests to the operator
If a visitor writes to the operator by email or Telegram, the operator receives the information the visitor provided: the email address or Telegram username, the message content and any attached files.
This information is used only to answer the request, correct a material or consider a rights holder's request.
Correspondence is handled in the interface of the respective messaging service and is not transferred by the operator into a separate database of the site.
When contacting the operator, please state:
- the subject of the request;
- a way to reply to you;
- the action you require;
- the page URL, if the request concerns a specific article or image.
11. Methods of processing
Processing is carried out by automated means, and by mixed means when considering requests sent to the operator by email or Telegram.
The operator collects, records, organises, stores, uses, corrects, deletes and destroys data only to the extent necessary for the stated purposes.
The operator makes no decisions with legal consequences for a visitor based solely on automated processing of their data.
12. Retention, deletion and destruction
The language, theme and consent settings are kept in the browser until the visitor deletes them, clears browser data or removes the site from the device.
Pages and images saved for offline reading are kept in the browser cache until the cache is cleared, the PWA is removed, the browser evicts them or the site's data is deleted.
Data processed by Yandex Metrica is stored by Yandex LLC in accordance with the service settings, Yandex's terms and applicable law.
Correspondence with the operator is kept until the request is closed and for the period needed to confirm the measures taken, after which the operator deletes it in the messaging service, where possible.
Once the purpose of processing is achieved or a lawful request is received, the operator stops processing the relevant data and deletes it, unless further storage is required by law or to protect the operator's rights.
A request is considered within the period set by applicable law. If answering requires confirming the identity of the requester or clarifying the request, the operator may ask for additional information needed to consider it.
After consent is withdrawn, no new analytics data is sent once the counter is switched off and the page is reloaded. Previously collected data may continue to be stored by Yandex under its rules and retention periods; the operator does not control Yandex's storage and cannot delete an individual visitor's data from it.
13. Security measures
The operator takes reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect data.
To protect data the operator uses HTTPS, restricted access to accounts and repositories, control of external loads, a Content Security Policy (CSP) and other security settings of the hosting and the site.
Access to source data and service settings is restricted to the operator's credentials. The public site gives visitors no access to administrative functions or a user database; the site has no such database.
14. Data sharing, processors and external links
The operator may entrust technical processing of data to hosting, infrastructure and analytics providers within the stated purposes. The scope and terms of processing at each service are defined by its documents and settings.
Services involved in running the site:
- GitLab Pages — the main hosting of the site (www.baltiho.ru);
- Vercel — the site mirror (www2.baltiho.ru);
- Yandex Metrica — analytics, only after the visitor's consent;
- DonatePay — voluntary payments in support of the project, only if the visitor clicks «Support»;
- Reg.ru — domain registrar, DNS and email for the baltiho.ru domain, if a request is sent by email;
- Telegram — if the visitor writes to the operator in the messenger.
When Yandex Metrica is used, processing is performed by Yandex LLC under the service's terms. Before the visitor consents, neither the Metrica code nor its pixel is loaded.
The «Support the project» form on the site's pages belongs to the DonatePay service and is not loaded until «Support» is clicked. After the click the form opens in an embedded frame on the page (with JavaScript turned off, on the DonatePay site in a new tab). From then on DonatePay receives the IP address, browser details and the address of the site the form was opened from, and may set its own cookies. The amount, the payment comment and the payment details are entered by the visitor in the DonatePay form and on the pages of payment services; their processing is governed by the documents of DonatePay and of the chosen payment service. The site operator does not receive or store bank card details; in the DonatePay account the operator sees the amount, the time and the payment comment, if the visitor left one.
The site contains links to Telegram, Sports.ru, Klops, the official FC Baltika website, Wikimedia Commons, Transfermarkt and other external resources. After following an external link, data processing is governed by the policy of the respective service.
The Telegram section of the site is a static copy of posts from the @BalticaB channel saved when the site is built. No Telegram code runs on the mirror pages.
15. Visitor rights
A visitor has the right to:
- obtain information about data processing;
- correct data, where the operator holds it;
- demand that processing stop or that data be deleted in the cases provided for by law;
- withdraw consent to analytics;
- contact the operator;
- apply to the competent data protection authority or a court.
How to send a request and what to include is described in section 10.
16. Withdrawing consent
This page has a «Change your analytics choice» button.
After withdrawal:
- the stored choice is removed from the browser;
- if the counter was already loaded on this page, the page reloads so that it stops working;
- the notice with the choice is shown again;
- Metrica is not loaded until new consent is given;
- no new analytics events are sent.
To delete previously stored Metrica cookies and data, the visitor can clear the site's data in the browser settings.
17. Changes to this policy
The operator may update this policy when the site's composition, the services used, the ways data is processed or legal requirements change.
The current version is always published on this page. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the document.
