In July 2024 Ilya Porokhov found himself in a position half of the First League dreams about: Baltika, Torpedo, Alania and Ural were all fighting for him.
Khimki, who owned him at the time, stalled on the loan deal with Yekaterinburg — the offer from Kaliningrad was better for the club. But Ural, the agent and the player had already agreed everything between themselves. Porokhov left for Yekaterinburg.
